  11. Brandon Burton says:

    I am not the same Brandon y’all are blasting ,in fact I graduated from Western Kentucky last year and I tried to use that with my black friend two days ago and it would barely register his presence, so don’t y’all go assuming he is racist

  12. Jeff says:

    @Brandon… That is hilarious!

    @Phillip… “Before trying to hate” should be surrounded by commas.

    @Coco… You should have used a period after the proper spelling of “course.” I suppose that’s the typical public school education.

  13. tc says:

    He is racist because he said, “…your typical black man simply cannot afford kinect.”

    No, not true. I am African American and have an XBox Kinect. It sees me just fine. If it can’t see you, try turning on a light. It can’t see anybody if there’s not enough light in the room.

  16. Joe says:

    Well the kinect has infered lazer and it detects heat and movement so it could work with anyone (unless they are cold blooded LOL!!)

  17. henry says:

    lol this is f-ing funny. i look up this website to figure out how to clean up gta 4 and i find this. and i know im spelling wrong and not using capitals, but im just slightly lazy. thats probably why ppl are spelling wrong.im not dumb, im just kinda lazy. XD

  18. Rick says:

    Xbox will detect blacks just fine, you just have to read the manual that comes with the product. I can’t remember the page number but if you turn it upside down and remove a little plastic cover there is a “Spook Button”, that puts it into dual IR and UV mode. This added feature allows it to detect the absence of darkness from and opposing background. Thus typical genetic features common to blacks that contrast the rest of their body such as their teeth and eyes, palms, soles of their feet etc. will be picked up by kinect.

    • Rowen says:

      @Rick For the record, im black, but Rick, the “Spook Button”…. Hahahaha!!!! :-D Thats cr@p funny!

  19. Jessica says:

    Why did this go from a simple question to a racist conversation? I mean, yes it has trouble detecting dark skinned people, but lighting could also be a big part of that. I know that if my lighting isn’t the best that I’m not detected very easily, and I’m a white girl. So, it isn’t just the fact that they are dark skinned, but not everyone has the beat lighting in their house.
    Just saying.
