I just bought a new 360. its the Black Xbox one with the 4 GB Hardrive. Well i tried to put some cd’s in and rip them onto it but when i try the “rip music” button its like disabled. It won’t let me click it at all.
I tried burned cd’s, purchased cd’s and nothing works.

I’ve been researching this issue all over the web, but haven’t found the answer. I must fail at googling, as ripping CDs to the hard drive is probably a common thing people do.

I’ve been researching this issue all over the web, but haven’t found the answer. I must fail at googling, as ripping CDs to the hard drive is probably a common thing people do. First, I burned an audio CD through iTunes. Didn’t work. Then burned an MP3 CD through iTunes. Didn’t work. Next burned a CD through Windows Media Player. Didn’t work.

I am having the exact same problem. It may have something to do with the fact that it is a 4 GB, and may need a hard drive, although I am not 100% positive.

I try to click the “rip” button but it is faded out as if it’s N/A. This is bullshit, I can’t figure out how to fix this problem either, and the only people who are commenting on this are people who are having this issue…. We need to consult with an xbox professional…

you have to buy a HDD cause it the internal memory is flash memory wich only lets you download demos, saved games from xbox live it won’t allow you to install games or rip games you need to buy a HDD
